The night before the special day was spent cooking the traditional dishes like ketupat, rendang and lodeh. Slavering over the hot stove with Eid songs in the background and all of us squeezed into one kitchen really made it feel more lively and festive.
On the day of Eid, we were all dressed in our baju kurung ready to do some visiting. So off we went to take the train to North of Brisbane to visit and celebrate with the other celebrating families in Brisbane and not forgetting eating to our hearts content. The children dressed in their traditional costumes were playing in the back yard while the rest of the adults were talking, laughing, eating, singing and watching malay movies. We had a ball of a time!

I am not sure of the training days now coz its the league season. most probably mondays and thursdays.. same time same place! =)
